Today's a fun day! It totally switched me inteo holiday mode. We had sports carnival in the morn, which seemed to be rather draggy but actually quite short. Our batch is always the 'lucky' ones who get to try out new things, not by our decision, and asked for feedback. Although the cheering didn't exactly turned out as desired, I'm sure most of the ppl enjoyed themselves, including those who had to compete under the blazing sun. All the runners deserve round of applause. haha. =)
After the sports carnival was more exciting. lien, suet, xm, hx and i went to luen's house. I love pingpong! I think I'm sort of addicted to it now. We played singles in such a way that the player who got 3 points first get to stay on to compete with the next person in line. We played for a long time, until lunch was served, and then we continnued playing. The good thing is, everyone improved, especially xm and luen. =)
Piano has got to be one of the best invention in the world. I got to do my first trio on piano with lien and hx. Lien's really musically inclined. Doesn't have to worry about sight-reading during exams. ha. The song we played was 'the rose'. I've forgotten the tune now. I'm so glad that we managed a piece qute well though we had alot of difficulty at first. haha. It was really funny to hear the confusion in the notes and the fingers just mo-ing the keys instead of pressing them. Hopefully some day we can get to play it again!
3 things that rock: pingpong, piano, poker cards. hey, one thing interesting to note. They all start with the letter 'p'. *luen, ty for inviting us to come over! *le: u've motivated me to work harder for my organ! *hx: let's try to prevent mo-ing the keys when we can't keep up with the pace in future. haha. *xm: Agree with me that pingpong is fun. ha. *suet: hope one day u're able to take up piano lessons =)
