Three days without homework. This is just the beginning though.
I truly believe, that sometimes we just have to slow down and take time to cherish the things around us. Smell the
flowers, say 'hi'to your neighbours, write a letter or email to a friend, and several other things that take up so little time but are categorised as 'negligible'. How ironic.
Things whizzes past without us having the least consciousness to realise them. And before you start to realise, it's just too late. Like the return of a sibling, a chance you won't want to miss flying past your head, someone asking for a peer feedback (you may think it's "not another feedback!", but think again, be glad that someone wants and values your feedback)or simply the presence of a friend beside you. You may be too preoccupied with other things where its importance is seemingly greater than the other, but in fact not, that you miss an opportunity or fuller experiences.
Miscommunication occurs, and this is one of the worst reasons (I think) being the root of misunderstandings or causes of disagreements when we dont want it to happen or we are suffering from exhaustion trying to convey messages across well. Anyway, sometimes, remaining silent is best. "Talking too much sometimes get you into trouble." From the movie
Paulie, which showed how a parrot who can talk like a human(not only mimic) get him into trouble one after the other. Maybe we should learn from Paulie. Meanwhile there is a Chinese saying by Confucius, which means: "We will always find a value in individuals around us." Towards a more extreme case, we may pick up values from even animals.
